Open Gardens SA made a grant of $3,000 to The Urumbulla Indigenous Garden at the John Pirie High School in Port Pirie to build a secure propagation facility next to their Indigenous Garden.
The project has been built to a high standard and is a vast improvement over the previous temporary facility.
The Project Manager, Bruce Mules, and the students are thrilled with the outcome and greatly appreciate Open Gardens SA's assistance, which paid for the materials for the new shade house.
The propagation facility looks fantastic and will be a fabulous asset to the garden.
Another round of Open Gardens SA community project grants will be announced later in the year.
